My childhood cat taught me a lot of things.

Growing up with Sandy, I learned how cats have such depth and individuality. The complexity of her character fascinated me — it was as though she was always thinking, always strategizing about something. Whether it was sneaking up on a toy, carefully choosing the perfect spot to nap, or plotting to jump in the bathtub, she consistently kept me on my toes for 14 wonderful years.

Since Sandy’s passing, I’ve kept my passion for cats alive by volunteering at the SPCA.

I’ve experienced new personalities, witnessed new strategies, and learned to appreciate the complex minds of cats even more.

That means staying perceptive, adaptable, and consistently thinking a few steps ahead. Whether analyzing consumer behavior or crafting brand direction, I rely on intuition, strategy, and a bit of curiosity — just like a cat sizing up its next leap.

I believe the most effective strategies aren’t the loudest — they’re the ones that unfold over time, shaped by careful thought and insight. In my work, I aim to embrace the complexities of each challenge and craft thoughtful solutions that resonate with others, creating a deeper sense of connection.

While I don’t plan on strategizing to jump into a bathtub like Sandy, I hope that my strategy work can be just as deliberate and impactful, leading to interesting outcomes that create lasting memories.

As a strategist, I rely on the sharp instincts I picked up from cats.
